This is so cool! I love seeing these sea birds like this, and wow to those sand prints!
This beach was a really good one for birds.
pelicans def have big feet...they are so cool...love the egrets as well....miss seeing them all the time in florida....
I'd love to have shorebirds here. But they are oddly absent in the mountains.
Love the bird pictures and the lovely sound by the sea.Pelicans have remarkably big feet!maggie xNuts in May
I would love to go down that way and see so many birds.I say that a lot; one time I should just pack up my car and drive......
Thanks for your e-mail and birthday wishes. I never knew pelicans had such big feet...Love the nail varnish on the toes.
I didn't relaize either until I saw the footprint. And thanks!
Wonderful and diverse pictures Secret Agent. This is a good primer as I have beach trip that starts next weekend. Visiting my father--he could watch the pelicans all day long. I hope you have a super Monday.
What good timing, then! I am always pretty content watching birds.
Pelicans are truly unique creatures. Love all your pics!
Yes they are. Thank you.
Not sure why I find white plumage more beautiful than black or grey but I do! The Great White Herons are magnificent.
It is very striking. The Great Blue Herons are interesting more for their enormous size.
Great photos! Thanks for sharing them.
You captured some really beautiful birdy moments. I bet the shrimp boat attracts a lot of attention a lot of the time :)
The funny thing is that I didn't even notice how many birds there were until I loaded the photo onto my computer.
I can't believe how many fab bird pictures you caught! And those footprints? Wow!
Thank you. The place was a goldmine for bird photos.
Beautiful bird photos. I do love the sound of gulls, and your terns are so much nicer-sounding than our herring gulls. Egrets are my favourite, all snowy-looking and elegant (ish). But wow, those pelican feet ARE huge. BTW, love the green toenails. I have some polish just the same colour!
Thanks. I'm a fan of even raucous-voiced birds. I think of that polish as blue, but it's sort of an aqua, I guess.
wow! i had no idea a pelican foot was so big! great shots.
I didn't either until I saw the prints.
