    1. But it fits if my goal is to love (or at least be at peace with) all the world, not just the pretty parts.

    1. The fall trees reflected in the water looked like an impressionist painting to me.

      Hope you do the same!

  4. Your relief is shared by many. My daughter worked on two campaigns in Seattle, and burned up my phone last night with worries until midnight. I came out of my slothful retirement to work on this one, my last hurrah. Now I leave it to people to figure out how to work together, and return to sanity regarding what is possible, and realize that compromise is necessary in a society as varied as ours.
    Cheers

    1. I surely hope we can get a little cooperation and compromise this term. It's crazy to be this divided.

    1. I have to admit to a bit of heartache about how bitter this election has felt. I'm relieved, but not joyful. I want us all to pull together and move forward. I fear that will not happen.

    1. Thanks. I wanted to take that mossy boulder home with me. But I couldn't quite move it.
